Aim :

To ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment on campus by preventing and addressing all forms of ragging.

Objectives :

1. Prevention of Ragging :

To proactively eliminate any form of ragging on the campus through awareness campaigns, counseling, and strict enforcement of rules.

2. Protection of Student Rights :

To safeguard the dignity and rights of all students, especially freshers, and ensure their integration into the academic and social environment without fear or intimidation.

3. Monitoring and Supervision :

To monitor student interactions and maintain strict vigilance in hostels, classrooms, and other areas to detect and prevent potential incidents of ragging.

4. Prompt Redressal :

To provide a safe and confidential mechanism for students to report incidents of ragging, and to ensure timely investigation and appropriate disciplinary action.

5. Awareness and Education :

To organize regular awareness programs, seminars, and workshops educating students about the negative impacts of ragging and promoting values of mutual respect and camaraderie.

6. Compliance with Regulations

To implement and uphold the regulations set forth by UGC and other statutory bodies regarding the prohibition of ragging in educational institutions.

7. Support for Victims

To offer counseling and support services for victims of ragging, ensuring their mental and emotional well-being.
