Overview

Benefits of maintenance allowance are paid to SC Students studying in professional courses and living in hostel attached to professional colleges.

Benefits

From Maintenance allowance user can get fund for Professional course books, Stationary, Residence & Food. As bellow ( from hostel date of joining to date of Exam or Max 10 month)

1) For students who are residing in Government Hostels.

  • Course duration between 4 to 5 years: 700/- Rs per month (Rs 7000 PA.)
  • Course duration between 2 to 3 years: 500/- Rs per month (Rs 5000 PA.)
  • Course duration bellow 2 years : 500/- Rs per month (Rs 5000 PA.)

2) For students who are eligible for Government hostels but not admitted in Government Hostels

  • Course duration between 4 to 5 years: 1000/- Rs per month (Rs 10000 PA.)
  • Course duration between 2 to 3 years: 700/- Rs per month (Rs 7000 PA.)
  • Course duration bellow 2 years: 500/- Rs per month (Rs 5000 PA.)

Eligibility

  • Student should be admitted in professional Course.
  • Students should be the scholarship holder of Government of India
  • The limit of income will be applicable as per the Government of India scholarship scheme i.e. annual income limit less than or equal to 2.5 lac
  • Students who are studying in the professional curriculum and residing in Hostel (Government. or Institutes Hostel or outside).

Renewal Policy

Documents Required

  • Cast Certificate
  • Parents Income Cert.
  • College Admission Receipt
  • Warden Letter(If student not getting admission in hostel)
  • His/hers Registration/Application ID with GOI post matric scholarship scheme
